Man, no drive ever looked cooler than the 150GB Raptor-X with the clear window. Sigh.

Had one but it broke and was not able to get a new one (still on warranty) from WD, only option was to either keep it broken or get a Velociraptor. I wanted to keep the only drive with window but since I paid a premium for it, I decided to get the Velociraptor, more practical than a brick.

# good to have on handRealNeil 2012-09-04 05:28
I like this dock, but my case already has a functioning dock built into the top of it. (Rosewill Blackhawk Ultra) I haven't tested it for speed, but it's fast enough for what I'm doing.

I have found Thermaltake products to be of good quality in the past. I would probably buy this if I needed a dock.

Does the power supply come with an power on/off switch between the plug and the PSU or is the PSU just continually on and relies on the switch on the unit and if you really want it off then you have to unplug it

reason why I ask is if it's left on continually you'll not see the PSU last for long as the caps inside the PSU will dry out and begin to bulge
