DX11: Aliens vs Predator

Aliens vs. Predator is a science fiction first-person shooter video game, developed by Rebellion, and published by Sega for Microsoft Windows, Sony PlayStation 3, and Microsoft Xbox 360. Aliens vs. Predator utilizes Rebellion's proprietary Asura game engine, which had previously found its way into Call of Duty: World at War and Rogue Warrior. The self-contained benchmark tool is used for our DirectX-11 tests, which push the Asura game engine to its limit.

In our benchmark tests, Aliens vs. Predator was configured to use the highest quality settings with 4x AA and 16x AF. DirectX-11 features such as Screen Space Ambient Occlusion (SSAO) and tessellation have also been included, along with advanced shadows.

2 GTX-470 = 2 X 1280 RAM = 2560(AROUND)
2 GTX-560 = 2 X 1000 RAM = 2000

CAN TWO GT-560 STILL BEAT TWO GTX-470?

first off, ram in a graphics card doesn't determine performance. having said that, two 560 ti will most definitely beat out two gtx 470

When you put two cards in SLI or crossfire you dont double the memory. The memory on the second card is lost Be aware of what you write, there is a lot of misinformation on the subject.

Sli/Xfire will double the bus to the memory though. The memory isn't lost, its just stacked. For example 1gb 256 bit plus 1gb 256 bit=1gb 512 bit(in theory). So one card doesn't have its memory shut off, both memory sets are working on the sharing the load.

One mistake made in this review.A 6970 should have been thrown into the mix,seeing as how it only takes a simple bios flash to turn a 6950 into 6970.

How much is a GTX 570 in your American dollars? and flashing a 6950 to a 6970 costs no money...

You guys don't get it?A 6970 should be thrown into the mix because you can reach that exact same level of performance out of a 6950 with a bios flash and a slight overclock.This would give you a better Comparison of the difference in value between the 6950 and the gtx 570.
