# good specs but,....RealNeil 2010-10-08 06:20
I like this headset but I'm unable to wear one due to having hearing aids in both ears.
I may get one of them and offer them up to my sons when they come to visit and they're burning the midnight oil playing my games. That way they get great sound, and I'm undisturbed when they're here.

# G930 + hearing aidsjwmore 2012-09-27 15:23
Hey, RealNeil, I don't understand your reticence with the G930 and hearing aids. even if you have the bulkier over-the-ear receivers, the G930 can accommodate them. I know. I have both kinds; in-the-ear, and over-the-ear receivers. I use the G930 for music and gaming, and find them quite comfortable, as well as excellent for audio. You should give them a trial, eh?

# HP HW supportsteve 2010-11-19 11:59
I have the usb version of this headset and I love it, this by all appearances is identical in terms of the headset design. One more con I would add to this excellent product is that although it is pretty durable, the joint near the earpiece is the weakest point in the chain and I broke my first set falling asleep with the headset on. I don't blame logitech for this, but be aware of this. Other than that I have no other issues with the headset.

# Outstanding Headset!Brian 2010-12-13 01:10
After first buying the Creative World Of Warcraft wireless headset, reading all of the very negative revivers about them concerning the very flimsy one-piece plastic headband that is always breaking at the slightest nothing and even more hateful reviews about Creative's non-communication and unresponsive actions, and then returning them right away, I checked out the Logitech G930 wireless headset version. I read all the great and positive reviews about the G930 headset, and after those read reviews along with seeing the 4.6 of 5 star ratings, that being totally unlike the dreaded Creative World Of Warcraft wireless headset, I decided to give them (the G930's) a shot. And I am very glad I did! I have been using them ever since I got them, and they are just awesome too. One thing I was afraid of was that the G930 headset would not have the gaming voice changing software and voices as did the Creative ones but they did! I downloaded the G930 software and got the voice morphing like the other ones I sent back. When I saw this plus the G930's actual study and awesome construction, I was choppy and well satisfied again. One thing I want to mention is while the Creative WOW wireless headset and software could only be used on one computer at a time only, and if you wanted to use them on another computer you'd have to totally uninstall it from the other computer first, the Logitech G930 wireless headset and software can be used and installed on as many computers as you wanted to, without having to continuously uninstall and reinstall. With all of this said, what I simply did was save myself a ton of anger and frustration beforehand by returning the cheap made Creative WOW headset and bought the incredible, sturdy made Logitech G930 wireless headset, which I highly recommend to any and all people. Thanks for reading!

# +1 for wireless, -2 for comfortMump 2011-02-21 02:50
I've owned a pair for 2 months now. I game, run FL studio, watch movies, and listen to a lot of music.

Positives:
Excellent reception range (>40ft. but YMMV)
GREAT sound for GAMING. GOOD sound for movies. GOOD sound for music. Somewhat-Acceptable sound for music editing, but let's be honest, that isn't what these are made for.
Terrific battery life, and gauge is accurate.

Negatives:
Get very uncomfortable after wearing for over an hour. Don't even try to wear glasses under them for any amount of time. I can't over-stress this, they are not comfortable headphones for me.
Adjustment notches are very loose, and can easily slip.
G-keys "customization" is limited, and doesn't allow a "push to speak" option.
2.8gHz, means it will pick up interference when microwaving those hot pockets.
very squeaky joints on the headset, doesn't seem to be a durability problem, but makes them feel poorly constructed.
The mic off-light (when placed in full-up position) is a good idea, but not visible in any extent of my periphery- and so- useless.

General comments:
If you leave reception range. the mic will turn back on, even if it is set to the off position. This can lead to unfortunate things being heard.
The voice morphing capabilities are cute, but eventually useless and can lead to a chopiness for the listener. Bass is a little weak, but still better than most headsets.

TL;DR
Great headset, I'd recommend it solely on its wireless nature, but can't wear it for too long.
Buy it for what it's designed: gaming. You can use it for other applications, but it won't blow your mind away.
