Enhanced UPS Support and Revamped Desktop Gadget

FinalWire Ltd. today announced the immediate availability of AIDA64 Extreme Edition 2.30 software, a streamlined diagnostic and benchmarking tool for home users; and the immediate availability of AIDA64 Business Edition 2.30 software, an essential network management solution for small and medium scale enterprises.

The new AIDA64 release revamps the Desktop Gadget module, further enhances its Uninterruptible Power Supply and Smart Battery monitoring capabilities, and implements full support for the complete AMD Radeon HD 7000 GPU family and the latest generation Intel SSD drives.

Enhanced UPS support

Improved monitoring capabilities for Uninterruptible Power Supplies and Smart Batteries. Temperature and capacity monitoring, input voltage, output voltage, output current, and power draw measurement for HID-capable UPS devices.

Revamped Desktop Gadget

Monitored temperatures, voltages, fan speeds, and miscellaneous system status values can now be displayed on a revamped AIDA64 Desktop Gadget. Font type and text style can be individually configured for all gadget items. Gadget width and colour configuration is now available on a new local gadget options panel.

OpenCL GPGPU Stress Test

An OpenCL-based multi-threaded GPU and APU stressing extension for the AIDA64 System Stability Test, using GPGPU computational tasks. Support for AMD CrossFireX, AMD DualGraphics and nVIDIA SLI configurations with simultaneous stressing of all available GPU and APU devices. Mixed configurations (e.g. AMD GPU + nVIDIA GPU), multi-GPU video adapters, OpenCL-capable IGPs, and next-generation AMD "Trinity" APUs are also fully supported.

Next-generation Intel processors and chipsets support

Optimized benchmarks for Intel Atom 2000 Series "Cedarview" processors, for the upcoming Intel Core i3/i5/i7 "Ivy Bridge" desktop and mobile APUs, and for Intel Xeon E5-2000 Series "Sandy Bridge-EP" server and workstation processors. Detailed chipset information for Intel 7-Series "Panther Point" and Intel C600 "Patsburg" motherboard chipsets. Preliminary support for Intel "Haswell" APU, Intel "Penwell" SoC, and Intel "Lynx Point" PCH.

Support for the latest hardware technologies
