AMD Fusion Update: Llano APU and the HD 6800 Series

AMD shed the ATI brand a few weeks ago and incorporated the "Radeon" and "FirePro" brand into the AMD logo. This move streamlines the product lineup for the upcoming Fusion APUs. Having two different brands when the Llano and Ontario APUs roll in can cause consumer confusion so having both the CPU and GPU brands under a single banner improves product recognition. We know of the "Bobcat", an out of order core that is the basis for the "Ontario" and "Zacate" APUs as we mentioned in a previously published HiTechLegion article. There is also the upcoming "Llano" APU, featuring the "Sabine" and "Lynx" for the notebook and desktop platforms respectively. These APUs will feature full DirectX11 capabilities on die and are slated to outperform all integrated video solutions of its class... HiTechLegion
